AAGGDCC [Alumni Association Government General Degree College Chapra]

Govt General Degree College Chapra, a newly built Government General Degree College under Chapra Block in Nadia district of West Bengal. Since its foundation on 30th October, 2013, it started its academic activities since 2015 with Five Honours departments in B.A. course [Bengali, English, History, Political Science & Sociology] including B.A. Programme. It also started B.Sc. Programme [ Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry] course from 2017. Therefore, its first batch completed their Undergraduate degree in 2018. It is a proud moment to have its Alumni Association (Alumni Association Government General Degree College Chapra) AAGGDCC be formed tentatively through Whatsapp Group [AAGGDCC] on 16th May, 2022. GGDCAAC mostly comprises of ex-students who are still pursuing higher studies. Some members got government services, some are social activists and some are established themselves as entrepreneurs.

As it’s first batch completed their Undergraduate degree in 2018, so most alumni members are just passed out students pursuing higher studies. Some includes teachers, WB Police, social activists, entrepreneurs etc.

We will invite all ex-students for the purpose to conduct one meeting [online/offline] to discuss the formation of Executive Committee including General Secretary amongst Alumni members. We also discuss about the Registration process of GGDC Chapra Alumni under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961 at the earliest.

  • will participate in Counselling for the maintenance of discipline and good academic ambience in the college.
  • will participate in College Development process.
  • will award mementos & certificates to the topper students of the College on College Foundation Day each year.

  • will adopt the College Garden for its maintenance and beautification.
