PRAYAS ( A Free Study Centre for Competitive Examinations )

As we all know, India is going to have the largest working age population in the world by 2030, but gainful employment for students from the general stream is a major challenge. Keeping this in mind the Faculty members of Government General Degree College, Chapra has taken an initiative to impart knowledge according to the syllabi of different competitive examinations in India, conducted by both of central and the state governments, in special classes designed by the subject experts of the college. We have named the initiative as PRAYAS , the keen effort to make our students, mostly the first generation learners, prepared for the competitive examinations to get jobs in Government sector and PSUs . These classes are designed to be held regularly after the college hours and the students have been showing their keen interest to participate in this employability-oriented learning process. Our Faculty members, teaching languages , social sciences, physical sciences etc. joined willingly in the initiative with great enthusiasm since the syllabi are consisting of different domains of expertise they possess . Having the remarkable presence of enthusiast students in these classes, we are looking forward to achieve the greater goal of our institution.
